他說，結果多達13件標示不合格，當中還有1件未標示成分，只有2件清楚標示含有甲醇；前述違反商品標示法的產品，可處新台幣2萬元以上、20萬元以下罰款，並可連續罰至改正為止，呼籲政府加強稽查。

消基會董事長謝天仁強調，市售火鍋常用的酒精膏並非乙醇製成，卻用工業酒精、精醇及變性酒精等名稱造成誤解；其所用甲醇（Methanol）對人體具毒害性，且14件樣品中，甲醇含量全超出50%；政府亦沒有對酒精膏製作訂定規範，添加原料也無標準。

消基會日用品委員會召集人、台北市政府消防局督察莊啟忠說，甲醇的蒸氣會侵害視網膜、肝及淋巴，過去假酒事件就是使用甲醇製造使人眼盲；甲醇燃燒不完全會產生甲醛，其毒性更是甲醇的33倍，還會侵害肺，已是 {

消基會呼籲，政府應研擬相關規範，訂出酒精膏的製程規範、原料添加規範，以及相關應施檢項目，以確保消費者 {

消基會也提醒消費者及店家，儘量改用電鍋，不要使用瓦斯或酒精膏作為火鍋燃料。
